Hey there, short stuff! When it comes to relaxing around the house this winter, you’ll look blooming lovely in these simple unisex boxer shorts.

Choose polka dot or floral prints for the women’s version, and a contrasting yet complementary fabric for the men’s – then sew on brightly coloured or mismatching buttons as the final flourish. This same pattern works for men and women; just adjust the sizing to suit. It comes courtesy of the lovely Measure Twice Cut Once peeps, where you can find vintage-inspired knicker patterns for every occasion! Download this design and say ‘see you later’ to boring loungewear.

Files included in download:

What our sewing community says

Here at Peppermint, we’re passionate about all things craft, creativity and community!

The strands of Peppermint’s DNA are bonded together with buttons and thread. Since our beginnings in 2008, sustainable fashion, either by brands that are working to bring change to the industry or those made by your own two hands, is at our cotton-loving core. We love the undeniable happiness that is woven through the maker community. It’s a tough old world out there at the moment, and anything that brings joy with a side of kindness and connection (and a new creative endeavour) is a good thing indeed. We ♡ our sewing community and hope you ♡ our sewing patterns!
