The Finders Keepers markets are swinging their doors back open in STYLE in 2022! The Brisbane/Meanjin Autumn Winter Market is set to take place across three glorious days, kicking off on Friday 20 May. The Exhibition Building of the scenic Brisbane Showgrounds will be full of good vibes, delicious food and a gloriously reopened bar alongside the main attraction – rows and rows of beautiful stalls featuring the best local makers, designers and artists.

Of course, we’re beyond excited to join the fun as the media sponsor for Finders Keepers again this year! You’ll find us at the Brisbane markets with all the usual goodness – selfie walls, subscription specials, sewing patterns and good laughs. We may even have an extra surprise or two for market attendees… Hush, hush!

Tickets are on sale NOW! Grab yours at the venue or get even more organised and head here to pre-purchase your ticket – you’ll go in the draw to win a subscription to Peppermint.

Another great make from Lisa from @SunnySewsEveryday:

My #PeppermintWaratahWrapDress is finished and I’m so proud of it. It has been designed not to flap open and flash your pants in the wind, so I feel confident it will be a great wheelchair or standing dress in English weather.

✨ INSTANT CLASSIC ✨

The Peppermint Myrtle Shift Dress is a beginner-friendly make with a few special details based on the ever-stylish shift shape – the perfect dress you need in your wardrobe right now!

Myrtle cuts above the knee with options to customise the length. Don’t think she’s reserved for hot weather either: try a heavier-weight fabric to turn your Myrtle into a pinafore-style garment for layering.

For our fabrics we chose two from our lovely sewing partner @Karmme_Apparel – the bold Rottnest Stripes in a lightweight, soft-drape cotton, and the quality linen in the handpainted Mexico Collection.

Get making the Myrtle – the only question is, can you stop at just one?
